Writers Learn Advanced AI Tools at Joint Training Workshop by APWWA and PMML**

In today’s world, where the use of information technology is rapidly expanding in every field and the demand for skilled individuals continues to grow, experts in artificial intelligence (AI) are carving out their own niche. Those who master this skill are the ones moving ahead.

Just like in every other profession, writers too must enhance their abilities if they wish to prove their worth in this competitive era. This means acquiring expertise in modern information technology, particularly in the field of AI.

Only a few organizations provide free opportunities and structured training to help both new and experienced writers polish their skills—while many others turn it into a business venture.

My association with the *All Pakistan Writers Welfare Association (APWWA)* goes back to the time when this great institution was being founded. My bond with M.M. Ali Bhai predates even that. From the very beginning, APWWA has brought writers together, helping them hone their talents and working for their welfare.

The three-day training workshop jointly organized by the *Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML)* and APWWA is yet another step in this ongoing effort.

Starting on August 5, the aim of this workshop was to familiarize writers with the positive use of AI—researching references for their work, presenting their writing to readers in the best possible way through graphics, creating personal blogs, fact-checking, and other key techniques.

The trainer for this workshop was PMML’s Head of Digital Skills Training, Malik Waqas Saeed.

Participants received an excellent lecture on the positive use of AI in writing. They were shown how to conduct research for articles using AI, how to find credible references, and how to practically verify the authenticity of texts, images, and video clips through forensic analysis. Writers were introduced to the AI tools used for these purposes.

They also learned how to create and manage their own personal blog websites, so they could preserve their writings, present them effectively to readers, and even turn them into a source of income. In addition, they were taught how to use *Google Advanced Search* to find relevant information online, as well as how to work with Canva Urdu Designer and other tools for creating impactful graphics.

The workshop was expertly hosted by PMML’s Chief Organizer Malik Mumtaz. APWWA founder M.M. Ali Bhai encouraged participants, while APWWA Senior Vice Chairman Malik Yaqoob Awan and PMML spokesperson Tabish Qayoom were also in attendance.

May the Almighty accept the efforts of all those involved and grant all writers the ability to use their pens in the service of truth. Ameen.
